Introduction
Fluitplanner is a field hockey umpire availability and match assignment tool operated by Fluiten.org. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
What data we collect
- Email address (for account creation and verification)
- Name (for identification in polls and assignments)
- Availability responses (your yes/no/if need be answers to polls)
- Match assignment data
Why we collect this data
We collect and process your data solely to provide the Fluitplanner service: managing umpire availability polls and match assignments. We do not use your data for marketing or advertising purposes.
Legal basis
We process your personal data because it is necessary for the performance of a contract — namely, providing the umpire planning service you signed up for (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Data storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (database and authentication), hosted in the EU. Verification emails are sent via Amazon Web Services Simple Email Service (AWS SES), hosted in Northern Europe. These providers act as data processors under a Data Processing Agreement. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days. To request deletion, contact us at privacy@fluiten.org.
Cookies
We use essential cookies only for authentication and language preferences. We do not use tracking or analytics cookies.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to data portability and to restrict or object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@fluiten.org. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
